Hi, I’m a Tokyo-raised mom living abroad and raising two bilingual children.

After moving away from Japan, I began to truly understand how much I missed the little things that once felt so familiar—the changing seasons, Japanese traditions, nostalgic details, and the everyday beauty of life in Japan.

I also wanted my children to grow up feeling connected to Japan and to the culture that shaped me.

That’s why I created Sakura Ave.
